As someone who has always loved the Marvel and DC universes, I found so much joy illustrating some of my favourite characters. What's more, since most of these characters now have a Netflix series, I could watch them on screen while working on their illustrations - the best of both worlds.

Underneath the portraits are two renditions of Spiderman suits based on South African products. These were my submission for a fan art competition run by Sony Movies in the lead-up to the Spiderman film released in 2018, Enter the Spiderverse."
