PROJECT 1
Storybook illustration
The brief for this project was to recreate the illustrations of a storybook of our choice using only typography. The difficulty was of course maintaining the legibility of the type while doing justice to the original artwork. The book I chose was "Der Kleine Prinz" and I am over-the-moon with how the artwork came out.

PROJECT 2
Stamp design
Similar to the project above, we were tasked with creating a set of 4 stamps that used only typography as its primary design element, and that commemorated something or someone.
I chose to use Africa as a whole, and celebrate its diversity and culture with this series, titled "Celebrate YOUR culture, find YOUR meaning."
The stamps are there for the viewer to find whatever resonates with them, and they all utilise the colourful nature and diversity so intrinsically found across the African continent. The designs mimic many of the traditional artwork and pattern found on the continent, but remain vague enough for anyone and everyone to be able to tune-in to the core message at the heart of these designs.
PROJECT 3
Letter play / self-branding
In this brief, we had to use our initials to create a single "letter" - or rather character, as if it were an ampersand - and then brand it as our logo for our own business cards.
This was a challenging but rewarding and enjoyable project, with many failed attempts and loads of rough sketches and discarded ideas.
